Request permanent deletion of your Iraqi Investment account and associated data

Overview
You can permanently delete your Iraqi Investment account at any time. Deleting your account removes your profile and personal data from our platform as described below. This page explains how to request deletion from inside the app or by contacting us directly.
Delete From the App
- Open the Iraqi Investment app and sign in to your account.
- Go to Settings, then Account.
- Tap "Delete Account".
- Confirm your choice. Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted after the retention period described below.
Request Deletion by Email
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address registered to your account and we will process your deletion request within 30 days.

Data That Is Deleted
- Your profile information (name, photo, bio, professional details)
- Your account credentials and contact information (email, phone)
- Your posts, comments, reactions, and bookmarks
- Your messages and connection history
- Your uploaded documents and identity-verification data
Data That May Be Retained
Some information may be retained for a limited period where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention and dispute resolution. Retained data is kept securely and deleted once it is no longer needed.
- Records required to meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations
- Anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you
- Information needed to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements
Deletion Timeline
Your account is deactivated immediately upon request. Personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days, and any legally retained records are removed within 90 days unless a longer retention period is required by law.
